Are You Anchored In God's Promise?

Archival Post

Imputed Righteousness

Imputed righteousness is one of the greatest blessings that you and I could ever know. In Romans chapter 4 Paul tells us that Abraham was not justified by his works or anything that he did, but he received imputed, deposited, righteousness when he believed in the promises God had for him. In that he became a forerunner for us, demonstrating that when we have faith in God’s promises and what he has done for us we too receive that deposit of righteousness. We get the righteousness of Christ copied onto our lives! What a joy to receive such a gift! Our sin deleted, and replaced with righteousness.

Faith Obeys God

Hebrews 11:17-19

We praise Abraham for his faith in God. We don't call him the father of faith for nothing. And, as the author to the Hebrews tried to urge his readers towards a life of faith, Abraham stood out as a perfect example. (7 Minutes, 1800 Words)
