Just a quick post to let you know I will be taking some vacation time with the family over the next few weeks and will be out of the pulpit and writing flow. I am grateful and appreciative of this time. It will give me a chance to regroup for whatever comes next during this wild and historic time. Though I feel strong and excited to preach the gospel, it will be nice to slow down and reset.

I am grieved again by recent events in our nation. Institutionalized racism has again ascended into public consciousness, but it's been there all along. Much work must be done.
