Or is He the one you use to justify your views and opinions to others? The truth is that Jesus does provides comfort, He does come through for us when we’re at the end of our rope, and He does inform our thinking and perspectives. But to limit Him there would be a huge disservice to who He truly is! Jesus is the kingdom builder. Jesus is the one who paid for your admission into the kingdom of God by giving His life for you. Jesus is the one who calls us into a life of sacrifice, but also promises us a life of joy! This is the Jesus we devote our lives to. This is the Jesus we love.
